John Patrick’s whimsical story about a dysfunctional family, whose wealthy mother, Mrs. Savage, is committed to a rest home by her stepchildren who want to control her fortune. Committed, Mrs. Savage befriends a truly lovable group of "looney" folks who may turn out to be more sane, and kinder, than her greedy clan. Who wins? Comic and dramatic turns unfold in a play that both touches the heart and puts money in it’s place. There are terrific and “way out” acting roles for young adult Dramatic School Players in this workshop!
